Rock'n'Roll Confessions

I think Bob Dylan is a self-absorbed doofus.

I've never understood the appeal of The Grateful Dead.

I think Paul McCartney was the most talented Beatle, and that John and Yoko's "Double Fantasy" album sucked.

There. I said it. Huge weight lifted.

  1. I noticed on hearing Double Fantasy many years after it came out (when I had listened to it exactly once), that it was very fresh-sounding and pleasing. I decided it was just ahead of its time. Maybe worth a whirl?

  2. You were just experiencing nostalgia. And you're lying if you say you didn't skip the Yoko tracks.

  3. I like many of John Lennon's songs, btw. Maybe I'm subconsciously blaming Yoko for the break-up of the Beatles, and this is my passive-aggressive way of dealing with it. Although that doesn't explain the Bob Dylan thing. Maybe I subconsciously think he had something to do with it too. And the Grateful Dead.
